Irish Rail's website says the following:

National Ploughing Championship Travel Arrangements by Marketing Department

Iarnród Éireann in conjunction with Bus Éireann are providing a number of combined rail and bus services, from train stations in Cork, Tralee, Limerick, Ennis and Galway (all via Portarlington), Heuston station, Dublin (via Kildare) and Waterford (via Athy) to the National Ploughing Championship in Cardenton near Athy.

The National Ploughing Championship is taking place from Tuesday 22nd September 2009 to Thursday 24th September 2009. See www.npa.ie for more details.
