Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone know if there's any OEM versions of Win 7 for sale anywhere yet?? Looked in all the usual spots but no sign. I was under the impression that the OEM version shipped a month or so ago, and that buy now there'd be a few places offering them to the general public (eBay & Play both had OEMs of Vista quite quickly).

    Thanks in advance :D

As far as I'm aware it was only released to OEM's, eg Copies were sent to DELL, IBM etc so that they could start manufacturing machines for it.. I don't believe OEM copies have been released to retail yet...

Any idea when they will be?? I thought OEMs were usually released to retail around the same time they were released to the likes of Dell etc. I expected to at least see a few copies that slipped through the cracks up on eBay by now.

I want to get Vista off my machine now. I had contemplated moving to a Linux distro as I'm very familiar with Unix from college, but I do a good bit of gaming so have to stick with Windows. Have Win 7 beta on my laptop and it's so so nice on the resources. My machine has a good spec but all the same, Vista is just such a hog, and I usually have a VM or two in operation at the same time. I don't know can I wait out until October 22nd, and even at that I don't want a retail copy. Not paying for support I won't use.
