    Hi there,

Chris Lennon, Director of the Up and coming film 'The Curse of Macha'.

We have been working on this production for quite some time now and well we are well on our way with the script, production crew and development team but we seek as much support as possible in its completion.

As you know the whole tale of the Tain Bo Cuailgne is an interpretation of the truth about the invasion of the Connaught Tribes and the eventual flight of the Dal Riadha tribes to the coasts of Antrim and modern day Argyle, in Scotland.

Our tale focuses on an Ulster woman forced to flee her village when the tribes of Connaught, invade. She stumbles across another Ulaid village willing to find out the truth of what is to come. Thats all we're at liberty to say with the story.

I've done my fair share of research with help from Historian Geraldine Carville, who is supporting this production. But our research is always ongoing into making this both authentic and imaginative in its nature.

Film crew hail from Edinburgh and Belfast, CameraShy productions, and our main cast hail from both shores. Including Patrick O’Kane (Exorcist the Beginning,Perkins 14), and Local actors Colette and Kenneth Lennon.

Visual Effects will be lead by Emmet Griffin (Dark Knight/ Narnia)

We also have a team of local artists including Hugh Clawson, a bronze sculptor, who is working on our weapons as we speak.

So all in all there is quite a team assembled and we hope to gain more support and crew.

    Kinds regards

    Chris Lennon
