Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dell XP Pro install CD's

Hey, I've had to reinstall my Dell XP Pro machine & I have the genuine XP Pro Reinstall CD & key, so no probs there - the XP Pro CD is SP2 & half way through it prompts me to put the SP2 CD into the drive ! - I never remember having one, but on the basis that the SP" cd is lost, can I get one from somewhere ? I's looking…

I's looking for the 'ASMS' file, so I'm presuming its not a standard SP2 disk which only has an .exe on it

Maybe the disk is scratched or dirty and setup cannot read the file it's looking for?

ASMS is a folder on the XP CD. It's usually the first folder to be read from the CD after the setup starts from the hard disk for the first time. If you're getting this error it could be a bad disc or possibly that Windows isn't detecting the drive anymore, but its most likely the disc.
