Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

are you trying to make the pc run faster by turning off services ?

are you trying to harden it by removing unsafe services / shares ?

or are you trying to get the modem to work ?

I have an nc10 and i had allot of services switched off to make it run smoother/become functional in windows quicker on startup. It was all going fine until i got o2 mobile broadband and it wouldn't connect to the internet but after switching on all services it did.

your just going to have to go throught them one by one, it will only take about 5mins

1 start all normal xp services
2 connect to o2 (make sure it working)
    3 disconnect
4 stop one that you have done without before
    5 reconnect,
6 if it connects the service to disable
7 if not set to automatic and start it again
    8 repeat from step 2
