Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Probably not much interest in this game from boardsies, but feck it I'm excited!

Davie Weir out by the looks of things so our decision not to bring in a Centre Half during the window leaves us with McCulloch stepping in at the back.

Looks like 4-5-1 but with Naismith and Rothen on the wings we should have a bit more of an outlet than in previous years. Miller upfront.

    Hleb doubtful for Stuttgart.

    C'Mon The 'Gers!

    Rangers team confirmed

    McGregor
    Whittaker
    Bougherra
    McCulloch
    Papac
    Thomson
    Naismith
    Davis
    Mendes
    Rothen
    Miller

    Will probably look like this

    McGregor

    Whittaker----Bougherra
    McCulloch----Papac

    Naismith---Davis---Mendes----Thomson
    Rothen

    Miller

From what i know about Rothen he is pretty dangerous at set pieces, something weve missed for a fair while. Thomson will sit back (and hopefully not get sent off) letting Davis and Naismith break forward when they get the chance.

Strong midfield for Rangers but that defence looks weak.

+1 for Pogrebnyak. The only striker in my FF team. :)

    Hleb starts btw.

Great result for Rangers and for Scottish football. I thought Rangers were unlucky not to win it on their 2nd half performance, I was only watching on an internet feed but they looked good.

Fair play to them.. What a goal by the lad Bougherra (sp?)

Ah well I am happy with that and what a goal from Boughie :)

Have to say we were pretty woeful in the first half but greatly improved in the second.
Though Jerome Rothen was a stand out for us

well...it really is a game of two halves eh?

We were absolutely shocking in the first, only naismith was getting passmarks from me.

The second was a different story though, and while we didnt control the game we certainly battled and created chances.

People might argue, but the draw was deserved in my opinion. What a goal from the boogie man!

Well done Rang.... Ran.... Ran.... damn it I just can't say it!! :D

Good result in fairness. It'll be hard to ever match Lyon away, but every away point gained is an achievement in Europe.

In terms of the result, i think it would take beating Barca at the Nou Camp to match the Lyon result in all fairness.

What last night did match that game for however was sheer fighting spirit, we were absolutely pummeled in the first half and were lucky to only go in 1 down, so to come out fighting the way we did showed a hell of a lot of character.

Hopefully we can put the first half down to nerves, as a lot of the problems were of our own doing. We didnt change our shape in the second, yet things seemed to click better.

home games coming up against Sevilla and Urziceni, 4 points would put us in a good position imo.
