Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hi - sorry if this is on the wrong place but I haven't a clue where to ask it. Back in the 90's there was a dance song called 'Joop' - anyone remember who sang it? It was a kind of 20's charlston thing but modernised..

Discogs says it was released in 1992. Why would someone look for that garbage 17 years later

It was a UK No. 1 in 1993 or '94. Appalling stuff. One of those novelty songs like The Birdy Song or Shaddap Ya Face that get to No. 1 every blue moon.

Apropos to nothing, a much better novelty No. 1 which drew on trumpets from a 1920s hit was White Town's 'Your Woman'...

Yeah it's a cringeworthy tune, contrary to what some might say i don't like every single record made back in the day and this would be an example of one.

It is what it is.its a pop tune from the 90s that got to no.1.look at the the state of the ****e that gets to number 1 these days.If it came on at work I could put up with it, better than putting up with westlife, pdiddy or whatever ****e is on the radio
