They have been cabling in the area for months now but the customer support are still very vague as to when Broadband and telephone will be available, stating later this year or early next year. Anyone got any information as to when the Mullingar UPC upgrade of the cable system will go live? I need an alternative to DSL at my location and already have digital tv through UPC.Digiweb Metro is not available at my location due to poor line of site and I want to steer clear of Ice.

They never do say when they will go live , way they are. The good news is they are live in Mullingar right now , see

This must be a trial area, or its being phased in as my area of the town is still not covered on the UPC system according to a conversation I had with sales yesterday evening.
