Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    My background
    Cert in Mechtronics (Tralee IT)
BA Maths Studies + Information Technology
    MSc Interactive Media
(also have a lot of experience in PC Repair and some IT teaching experience)
    so question is :-

I want to register as a "registered trainer" with Fas, have emailed them but no answer and asked today in the Cork Office and they seemed confused so asking here.

They did give me details of a course recognised by NUI (NUI Cert in Training and Continuing Education) but this costs 1250 and is run over 5 days spread over 3 months around the Dublin area which does not suit me. So any one else have any other courses I should look at? or do I even need to do this?

I believe you need either that course, or the JEB Teacher Diploma to register with FAS.
