    almost good value.

Probably good enough value for someone from Cavan and working in Cavan. But by no means the bottom price and nothing low enough to make me buy it, especially if i worked more than 30 minutes drive from it.

But at lease, slowly but surely were getting closer to reality.

Anyone seen anything cheaper anywhere thats new - DAFT has plenty of stuff on it but can't see anything similar. I'd be interested to see if there are any pre-NAMA apartments going in the Dublin area at sub €100k.

They are usually in the worst places mrgaa1, some just over 100k and still not selling.
    109k http://www.daft.ie/1473432
    130k http://www.daft.ie/1473441
    140k http://www.daft.ie/1470940
    125k http://www.daft.ie/1470567

    3 bed http://www.daft.ie/1467826
    3 bed http://www.daft.ie/1467697

Feck it too many to list :). Daft returned 98 matches under 150k in Dublin. Strip out the 'in need of modernisation' ones and there are quite a good few available.

I'm surprised by the amount of results sub 150k, its growing daily.

To add, this one has been available since 13th July http://www.daft.ie/1460045 at 95k and still not selling.

some right dumps there - however I think we're seeing some sort of normalisation at the lower end.

If you look at Daft you will see 3 beds in the NW for around that price. 100K for a townhouse in Cavan is not good value!

There is many 3 bed semi d's or terraced going for just over 100k in areas such as Donegal, Sligo, Longford and even Cavan. EA's are clever not to drop under the 100K level though.

This one represents good value if you want to settle down on your life savings and not work anymore: :D

You seem to be contradicting yourself - saying one thing and then another. Anyhow 100-150k seems to be the range.

What? Anyway IMO I wouldn't pay even 10K for box house in a Cavan estate.

You'll find cheaper houses and of better quality in Sweden, Norway and Finland.

I have not seen one single piece of property worth its money in Ireland.
