Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

carra needs to come off seriously.

Would not go that far yet today, but once Agger is fully fit, then I think it has to be an Agger-Skrtel pairing

Nice run forward by Insua, pity the shot was not better.

Looking at it again, the defender was far too square to ever cope with the pace of Torres.

Made it easier for him but it was still a super finish.

He really is getting too old for this game*.

Peno for West Ham and a yellow for Carragher.

How did I know it would be Carra that gave them a chance to get back in the game.

    1-1

    gman carra!

I was saying it last season and will be saying it again this season. Carragher needs to become the third choice CB.

With less game time he can stay fresher, and will stay sharper and not taint his past legacy at the club by becoming more known for recent errors that past greatness.

I would much prefer to remember Carra as a great servent than have errors ,that are understandable from a player whose legs are no longer there, become a trademark.

Just imagine if his three mistakes in this game were done by another player? He would have eaten the face of them as is his way.

Its difficult to tell, even after watchin 6 replays, but there could be a double contact there with Diamanti's penalty. It looks like he has kicked it into his standing leg which makes it loop into the air.

Its hard to tell even in slow-mo....but it does look like it.

Carra really has been consistently shocking this season, gave away the peno and two or three other blunders so far. Serious weak link IMO.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 32,108 ✭✭✭✭~Rebel~

seriously though, what the **** is up with carra this season?!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 40,909 ✭✭✭✭Xavi6

Anyone else think it wasn't much of a peno?

Young, scrawny, light striker went down quite easily imo. Certainly wasn't a yellow card offence.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

Looked a peno tbh. That sort of shove goes unpunished so much that we are used to it.....but its essintially a shove with the arm. He isn't leaning into him, he's pushing him. Nailed on tbh.

There is goals in this game.. Wouldn't be surprised to see four more.

Blatant free there, they're very casual at the back.

Definite push by Carra, guy went down easily but it was the right call. Wouldn't have issued the yellow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,084 ✭✭✭✭Kirby

Yeh Skrtel was a bit lucky to get away with that. Poor control.
