Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

There's nothing show currently until 14:30, when it's Arsenal vs Wigan.

It gives the same error no matter what the time or schedule

It's balanced across multiple servers. Try install Wireshark and get a full capture of the attempt to play.

Have Wireshark but I have no idea what to do with it or even what it does

Start Wireshark, once it's open, go to capture -> interfaces, and you'll see your network interfaces. The one going to the internet probably already has traffic. Hit start and you'll see the packets getting listed. Open the Eircom page and attempt to play the stream. After it's failed, press stop. Search the various packets for the string "servecast". When you find a packet with that word, right click and choose follow TCP stream. You'll see a summary window. Either copy and paste the contents or put up a screen shot.

Found one that might have something to do with it - starts like this:

    GET /eircom/static/buttons/player_playbutton_on.gif HTTP/1.1

    Accept: */*

    Referer: http://setanta-video.eircom.net/eircom/channels/Live.aspx

    Accept-Encoding: gzip, deflate

No, that's just a HTTP get to request an image.

This string should be present somewhere.

That'll turn up a couple of times as part of the webpage. It's the attempt to load the video from the link above that matters.
