    Hello all. We're planning on getting home from Scotland, and have put in an offer on a site in Co. Leitrim. I wondered if any members have experience of the costs of opening up and clearing a site, then the associated costs of strip foundations and infill etc...The plan is for a 144sq mtr (1550ft approx) 3 bed bungalow, and although I've been able to work out most other costs on the web, I have no real idea about these costs, and of course I don't want to be ripped off. Many many thanks for any help offered.

    I would guesstimate about €6k for that ... with maybe another €1500 for follow on pipework.

    It's hard to know because each field is different.
