AUTOCAD PROBLEM

im new to autocad.the problem is ,if I draw a circle or line,im not getting the orange icon appearing on the centre of the circle or endpoint of line,have I turned off something ?:mad:

B1977,

Its Object Snap you're after, I use ACAD LT 2005 and you can toggle Osnap on/off by hitting F3 or see attached for another way.
