So, whats the closest Oz match to these shops from back home?

Tesco: Anything other than Woolworths or Coles?

Penneys: Anywhere for cheap but decent clothes, like Walmart even

Heatons: Cheap house stuff [towels, lamp, sheets etc]

Also, wheres good to buy meat? Stupid butchers in Bondi was $25 for 6 fillets, aggggggh!!!

    Thanks!

Nope, if you want cheap Aldi are around in some areas,
Penneys: Anywhere for cheap but decent clothes, like Walmart even
Kmart, target and Big W, target would be maybe be top of that list for quality
Heatons: Cheap house stuff [towels, lamp, sheets etc]
Again, target, Big W and Kmart

The counters in cole/woolies in the westfield are ok. There's a butchers on the 1st floor of the westfield (beside coles), not sure on prices, but prabably reasonable. I tend to buy meat for 1 person for a few days, so i'm not overly concerned about going very far out of my way to save $2. I don't eat much beef anymore, cost is one reason. But turkey steaks are on the list every week, $5-7 for 4 (about 100g each)

Zambia - you know that's not what unreggd meant. Please keep your posts helpful or post elsewhere.

Also - KFC is not chicken.
