Good stuff Gary, I'll post the pre regged player list by the end of the week.

The Lakeside Manor is offering a €50 pp B&B rate per night for anyone wishing to stay over, just quote poker when booking. It will be a busy weekend in Virginia (its the annual pumpkin festival) so book early if you are planning to stay.

Hi Mick, what is the sttructure for the sat's

    Hi River King

    Satellites this week:

    Mon-Meadowview, Cavan €60 freeze-out
    Tue-4 Seasons, Monaghan €50 Freeze-out
Wed- Slieve Rossa, Cavan €60 Frreze-out
    Thur- P.V.'s Longford €60 Freeze-out
    Fri- Goalpost, Arva €60 Freeze-out

All these games have a $15k starting stack (starting at $50/$100) with 15 minute blinds.
The balance of cash will go to first place (so each game will play to a finish) and players can take a cash alternative for their tickets if they have already won one.

With the number of bookings in so far we've definitely covered the €10k guarantee and should end up with €20k at least...

These not true satelittes. I went last night expecting there to be tickets then remainder given out as a prize. with 37 runners i was expecting 9 tickets. Only paid out 7 runners and top 4 got option of ticket. Was very disappointed. Surely satelitte games should be all tickets. Even i can get in the top 9 out of 37.

Actually it does. I was told on the phone that it would be tickets and then leftovers for the winner and then at the break, the prize fund was announced it had changed.

I was a little peeved to say the least. Explanations like 'that is what people wanted' doesn't wash. I drove for an hour to get to the game and it changed during the game....

Sorry Mick but that is the what happened.

I was a bit disappointed too Iaian, the general feedback in the room was that a lot of the players couldn't make the game on Sunday or had already won their tickets, so i did the prize-pool breakdown as follows: The game was €45+€5 reg, 37 players.

    1st: €450+€200 ticket or €650 cash
    2nd: €100+€200 ticket or €300 cash
    3rd: €50+€200 ticket or €250 cash
    4th: €200 ticket or €200 cash
    5th: €140
    6th: €75
    Best hand: €20
    Bruce Poker Pub League: €50

    Total €1,685

I thought this was the fairest option to all players.
With 8 players left I told them that they could all take a Cavan Open ticket if they wished, 3 already had one and 3 couldn't make it so we played on.

I thought I had explained all this to you last night Iain, apologies for any confusion caused. I did say to you on the phone yesterday that at least 4 tickets would be available and any balance would go to the winner. So I think the breakdown kept in line with that.

Anyway, thanks for the bump buddy.
