Wonder if Bertie is coming out of the political wilderness with this poster. Cue groucho marx moustache and glasses!

Is there something wrong with an elected TD campaigning on a referendum issue?

Nothing at all. If that is what he campaigning for. First FF poster I have seen with a photo attached.

I see what you are getting at, well to pique your curiosity he didn't rule out a shot at the Presidency at some point in the future in a recent interview ;).

Yes have a feeling he is testing the mood of the people here. I mean he is not leader of FF, so a bit strange to see poster up. But nothing wrong with it as such.

That's one of last year's posters, the style has changed since, amongst other things their posters this year don't have party members photos. When was this photo taken?

Picture has no Exif data, so no way of verifying the date of capture.

That's what I'm thinking. It's either a picture from last year, or someone putting up one of those old ones as a weird prank. It's definitely not story-worthy anyway, even if he was back on the campaign trail. I suspect his reappearance would do more harm than good to the Yes side, though. No, I seriously doubt Bertie is involved.

Is it the only one, or are there a load of them? As Martin 2 says, that's one of the old posters from last year.

I can check it out for you if you want. Assume if there is one, there are a few. Why put up one. And for the record a lot of those coir pictures are old as well. Sure a lot of those posters were recycled.

Undoubtedly so. I wouldn't be surprised if someone decided to put up a few of the old posters to fill up a few more lampposts.

Which leaves me with the question...what's the issue here exactly?

    slightly puzzled,

the people's movement make a joke out of it, they stick stickers on all their old ones that say *recycled poster for a recycled treaty*

I'm surprised the yes campaign would recycle a poster though, after doing so badly with the posters last time.
