Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Visiting someone in Tralee for a bit who's also new to the city, neither of us have a clue what there is to do in town.. so far all we've done is visited the park (lovely park, at that) and walked around town a bit.

What interesting things are there to do here? And where are the good pubs/clubs?

    Hiya,

Have ye a car? If you do I would suggest going to Banna Beach or Fenit or Castlegregory, the best bits of Tralee are generally the scenery outside it :) Or better yet go to Dingle for a day.

The Abbey Inn is a good late bar, Ruairi's, The Blasket, The Deacon, all nice bars. Seeing as you're not Irish I would really highly recommend Sean Og's Bar for a bit of live music in a really nice traditional bar, it really is IMO the nicest pub in town. Fabric is a good nightclub at weekends, Horans is a student club during the week, ah Horans, good times :) There is also a club with The Deacon, can`t think of the name, don`t know much about it.

Are you two into food/restaurants etc? There's some lovely food to be had in the town, O'Donnells in Mounthawk, Mozarts, Tequilas is fantastic too.

The Aquadome isn't bad for a swim and the sauna etc, or on a fine day crazy golf can be pretty fun. Siamsa Tire Theatre can have some interesting art exhibitions and plays on, also try the Ashe Memorial Hall.

If I can think of anything else I`ll come back here again later :)
