    Hi all. I was in Sligo at the weekend and some pubs were advertising 1 euro pints etc for thursday as it's Guinness day.
    As Guinness seem intent on shoving their 250th Bday marketing strategy down our throats constantly these days, is there anything in it for us in Dublin?
    Are any pubs doing 2 euro pints etc? Why should we celebrate it if there's nothing in it for us??

    yes, there is loads happening

    have you got your tickets? the handlebar are doing free pints and so are most of the pubs.

    i am not really sure what your complaint is really?

    I'm not complaining - I'm wondering if anywhere is doing cheap guinness, like the 1 euro guinness pints i saw advertised in Sligo?

    I believe there is free Guinness offers in various pubs around Dublin for first arrivees! There are great gigs all around town, the tickets were incredibly cheap and there is a good chance of seeing a good band. Should be a really good night, I got my tickets a while ago for the Brazen head.
