Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Gibson should have released King - can't believe he wasted that so badly. disappointing.

I know gibson won the ball back but that attempted cross into Nani was awful

I had to email for a price 2 days ago and dial in the bet. All for nothing anyhow but he did have a couple of half-chances.

Poor old Wolves. Kev Doyle was a bit trigger happy with his constant shots from outside the area. I really think they should have made something better of the man advantage and the relatively poor united midfield but they're just not up to the level really.

Nani couldn't deliver the post never made a decent bloody cross!

I have always disliked him, very wasteful. It's like God decided that while Nani was in the womb, he didn't need another C. Ronaldo and only left him half finished...

Lovely movement between Owen and Welbeck for the goal.

My heart went out to Fabio...it's amazing the things adrenalin does.

The only time at the beginning of the season that I associated Nani with a positive reaction was his goal against Wigan and by that time, the damage was done.

It's a shame coz he has great pace and will get past a defender but he doesn't know what to do with the ball. And when he does attempt to cross...*shudder*

He was very good against Chelsea too imo, and very good in preseason.

Tonight was a poor enough performance from but I expect that in the Carling Cup - it isn't the type of game for him unfortunately, he doesn't have the right attitude for it.

Up til tonight, i felt that Nani had turned a corner for us in terms of his performances, so i'm willing to stick with him for the time being and see what he next performance is like in a 'proper' competition.

He still put ion some lovely crosses tonight on occasion, but i'll admit he was bloody frustrating with the time he took on the ball all too often.

His distribution was a bit frustrating tonight but I didn't think it was a bad performance.

Job done, 10 men for most of the match , Owens assist for the Goal the highlight of the game for me.

I only saw the highlights of this. Was happy to see Wellbeck score, was a nicely taken goal. I wonder does he have a chance of getting ahead of Macheda in the pecking order. Did he have a good game aside from the goal?

Wellbeck is the most higly rated of the youngsters.

Hopefully Ferguson beat the shíté out of Nani after the game, he really is an infuriating player.

welbeck is definitely the most likely to 'make it' so to speak. so i'd be shocked if he wasn't already in Ferguson's mind. plus he seems to be quite a grounded individual.

macheda, going by reports (i don't have a link, so i don't know how reliable it is. it may have even been mentioned in here), is a bit of a prima-donna whose starting to believe his own hype. he probably needs some of that sh*t beating nani should be getting.

Between him and Macheda yeah maybe, but from what I saw of King and De Laet they have great chance too.
