    Hello all..
I got a quote for a house alarm recently.
The house is pre wired and installation will be by a qualified alarm installer.
    The price includes....
Contacts and sensors on ten windows and three doors.
Motion sensor in hall and landing.
    One keypad.
Ability to programme for contact by mobile phone to several numbers.
Boxes to front and back. ( dummy box at back).
    Total cash price € 760.00
    Is this a good/bad deal.
    Any ideas..

    Hi The link,

Sounds like a good deal. Do you know what type of system he is installing for you, is he using shock sensors and contacts on your windows and doors or just contacts ?

As long as its up to EN50131 its good. However I would be asking for either Astec Fusion or SigNet 100 for the same quote. These panels are the same price as others but with much more features.

    Thank you for that.

The new ATS from aritech is also a good panel to be getting installed but as koolkid said once it is up to EN50131 standards you should be ok..

    Hi Jonnykitedude,

Sounds like a deal to good to be true, is he certified to install alarms ? Do you know what type of system he is installing for you, is he using shocks or contacts on your windows ?
