Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ian Harte scores a penalty for Carlisle, Portsmouth's dismal form continues, 1-0,

    Sunderland 1-0 up too,

and to continue to Irish player theme, Stokes scores after a min for Hibs in Scotland.

Screw CC, game of the day was in the Dutch Cup. Haaglandia/SirWinston from the Sunday Hoofdklasse A (third division) met Excelsior Rotterdam, an Eredivisie team only 2 years ago.

    Sequence of scoring:

    9mins: 0-1 Excelsior
    10mins: 0-2
    24mins: 1-2
    25mins: 1-3

    HT: Haaglandia 1-3 Excelsior

    54mins: 2-3
    64mins: 3-3
    76mins: 4-3
    89mins: 4-4

    FT: Haaglandia 4-4 Excelsior

    95mins: 5-4
    98mins: 6-4
    103mins: 6-5

    HT Extra-Time: Haaglandia 6-5 Excelsior

    120mins: 6-6

    FT: Haaglandia 6-6 Excelsior

    Penalties: Haaglandia 6-7 Excelsior

Excelsior live dangerously but come through in the end! Epic huh?

Best thing about tonights games as re the Irish team was Steven Reid playing 75 mins for Blackburn. Great to see him get through a game without picking up an injury for once.

A fully fit Steven Reid in centre of mf for the play-offs would be a huge boost to our chances.
