Getting a Strimmer - Log Rolls

    I'm thiniking of getting a strimmer but are they any good on log roll edgings, do they get into the grooves and also can they cause any damage to the timber itself.

    Will cut a line into them if used too close....
    We spray regularly with roundup, keeps 1-2 inch border for mowing..

    After some use with a strimmer you learn to judge it well. Nylon line is not that hard on logrolls, metal blades are a different story!
    I won't do the grooves but you can also get flat sided rolls as well.
