Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

you need to have three quarters of the note for it to be of any use

If this is true, you need to get another 50, take 1 quarter of it, add it to the half you've got. Go to the central bank. Claim your new €50. Give it a few days, get the left over 3/4 of the good 50, bring it to the central bank, get ANOTHER 50 squids.

    Sweet.

I think it is. Unless you have the full note in two parts then it's worthless. If that wasn't the case then there'd be nothing to stop 2 people using both parts to get €50 for each half.

You need to have the majority of the note to replace it. It has to be about 65% of the note or more. There is no definate % of the note, just common sence. You won't get a full note if you hand in 51% of the note... It's too close to half the note...

    Can you confirm this?

They obviously put a bit of thought into the location of serial numbers and so on. If they didn't have serials on so many places on notes you could very easily scam them.

For example say you had four intact notes. A note is made up of three parts for argument's sake, A, B and C.

    4 intact notes:
    ABC
    ABC
    ABC
    ABC

6 cut and shut notes each with 2/3 of a full note:
    AB
    BC
    A C
    AB
    BC
    A C

    50% profit. :)
