I just wondered if there is an idiot proof way of downloading or sending all the numbers from my mobile phone to my pc. I have an 086 Nokia.
Any and all advice would be most welcome.
    Thanking you in advance.
    Kind regards.
    Tom

    Different options:

    https://www.ovi.com/services/signin?fromSamlLogin=true

You can download a program from the nokia website called pc suite, and that will backup all your contacts, texts, pictures etc to your pc: link

You can use websites like zyb.com

I like all those ideas. The http://ovi.nokia.com way is simple. Go to the website, create an account, pick your phone, they send out the settings, you chose the Sync profile. http://zyb.com is very similiar. I like both options :)

I dont have the wire to do it and the computer does not have bluetooth (so my daughter says, I dont like asking her for advice cos she shouts it at me) She says go into a phone shop and they will transfer it to my o2 page on the net. Is he right?. Sorry about this, its all rocket science to this old geezer and you people are really quiet.
    Kind regards.

o2 have a backup service yes thats €2, details here: http://www.o2online.ie/wps/wcm/connect/O2/Home/Personal/My+o2/My+Details/O2+SIM+Backup

You can also use zyb.com, which is free, and you dont need a cable for that. It will connect a site using a data connection on your phone.

Just ask here if you need more help how to do it, no one will bite :)

I just did the OVI nokia one myself and it is excellent. I can even view my laptop or desktop from my phone where ever I might be.
