Had the Nifty Fifty on the camera, didn't feel like changing lenses in a greenhouse so I tried a little experiment.

That's because I spent some time colour correcting the campanile tower to its natural white colour and then super-imposing it onto the original tungsten lit scene. If you follow the link you'll see the colour corrected and non-colour corrected one.

So in one sense - yup that scene isn't real - I was just trying some new things out in photoshop.

Square vase, tonic water and some colouring pencils. Not sure what the concept was :)

Well the bubbles clearly represent snow and the pencils represent the diversity of life today. Overall the image shows how winter cheer can unite people from all different walks of life, hell, even the pinks and the reds can get along. They're freezing cold, but they can stand together for warmth, look up into the sky and taste the snow falling down.

Taking a Marxist ideology and applying it to th,e... blah blah blah

Cool shot though! Sometimes art doesn't need a concept, it can just be nice to look at :)

The bubbles make the image look like it was drawn with coloured pencils. Very nice.
