Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Broadband in the home in Ireland

    There was a guy on Morning Ireland from Ireland Offline proclaiming that only 20% of homes in Ireland have broadband. Is this correct? We are let to believe it is more towards 40% maybe that includes mobile coverage. The big question is what percentage of homes in ireland have broadband? I cannot get a true answer to that, one place pushes me towards another. Any comments please?

    That would be correct by the INTERNATIONAL measure of what Broadband is .

    Once Comreg add dodgyband products like Ripwave, 3G Mobile Products and Clearwire ( these are not counted as broadband by the International measure ) it would be 40% or so.

    Mind you if you counted other countries the Comreg way and added 3G Mobile Products to the official statistics then some countries like Austria and Germany would be OVER 100% of homes ....only by the Comreg measure though :p
