From my experience with two WE pistols, anything that says "WE" is a guzzler on gas to what I am to red bull....

Have to say I wouldnt go near WE again, they seem to just go "munchity munchity" on the old rare (in shops these days) green gas

Nelly Furtado is aint she!!! oh Wait that was a Man eater oops!!

yeah that little xp i had with them they are a little hard on the gas as the mags are bigger and take more and as Masada pointed out
its in the "this time o year" time where as it dont really matter what gBB you have its gonna act up any way

I found after last winter using a lighter, plastic slide pistol was alot better.

If you have something that doesnt need alot of gas through winter you'll be fine.

Its performance over looks come winter, your full metal fancy pistols will look nice in a holster, thats it, they wont work great.
Plastic light pistols will look and feel ****e, but they will still perform thanks to their lesser dependancy on gas.

Co2 pistols tend to keep 90% of their performance even through the coldest months in my experience, mind you they're more expenxsive to run that a normal GBB. Apart from that, pistols with lighter slides, for example a plastic slide G17 will continue to perform, not at 100% but it'll still be usable. None of my metal slided 1911s get's through a full clip in the heart of winter (except the Co2 one).

the dragon runs on green, not c02 iirc. and advice... you WILL need to use green to get any sort of reliability out of it. Unlike the heavier full slide cousin, the WE 5.1 hicappa, the dragon is a half slide, so slightly more economical, however at times, both can struggle to finish a magazine judging by the ones ive had. As others have said, its plastic 'ew not full metal' pistols that will rock around the annual clock....
