Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi Guys,

During a brief spell of madness at the weekend i bought myself an 02 scooter- No big deal so far.... only the bike needs to be brought up to revenue to have the vrt paid and i am unable to ride any bike at the moment.(the bike is running etc but i bought it to do up while im recuperating)

A relative collected the bike for me in his van, but he is busy for the next couple of weeks so i can't ask him to take me and bike up for the vrt.

Just wondering are Revenue(?) very strict when it comes to motorcycles and delays in registering, the bike is going to remain off the road for a few months but i would still like everything to be "legit" on it :D, received NI logbook today so i cant really delay can i ?

    Thanks in advance

tbh, a scooter will be so cheap to VRT you could just go up without the scooter, bring the NI paperwork, and pay it. They have zero interest in looking at near-10yr old scooters.........

“And my existence, while grotesque and incomprehensible to you, generates funds to the exchequer. You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Thanks galwaytt, It comes up as E50 online, its a 125cc but its age knocks it down about 70%. Tempted to phone them tomorrow and see if they would accept the paperwork without seeing the bike. Would save me a lot of hassle!!

They have zero interest in looking at vehicles of pretty much any variety unless the value is massive, or its for comercial use.
