Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Ok i just gave my dad my old pc...hes pc illiterate and this is his first time touching a pc..I had to disable to right click button and have nothing but google chrome(easiest beginner browser) because everything else was confusing him..Id like to think im relatively ok with pc,just i have a low tolerance level so i get annoyed very quickly when i try and tell him stuff..Anyway i was wondering is their any videos or software (preferably free) that can teach him some basics..

Another idea might be some evening classes in computer basics. Check in your local library. They're usually free and it would help him see he's not the only one starting out with computers.

    Did you try Youtube ?

hmmmm i seem to recall some tv ad's or something on the news about transition year students doing computer classes with older people for FREE.

OP might be worth giving your local secondary schools a quick ring to see if they are involved with this.
