    Hi

Just wondering if anyone could help me.

My friend has an iolfree account and was using Windows mail to pull his email.

However i re-formatted the hard drive and re-installed Windows as he had serious issues.

The problem is he forgot to mention he was Windows mail in conjuction with iolfree.

Now i have since logged into iolfree.ie and accessed his mailbox but all the mails are gone. There is isnt a single mail within his mailbox and his trash bin is empty.

He says he had lots of mail. Archived i presume.

Is there a way to retrieve any of these mails.

I clicked on the help link on iolfree and it looks to be down or non-existant.

I wondering do they remove the mails from your inbox as soon as you have pulled them onto your laptop.

    Any ideas folks?

I'm not sure about Windows mail but in Outlook when you are setting a pop3 account there is an option to leave a copy of the mail on the server. Sounds like this wasn't ticked.

No there is no way to retrieve your emails now (unless you backup some how). This box wasn't ticked:
