Yeah well thats the problem...There was great opportunities for windows mobile phones with htc sense, but Microsoft didn't push it far enough.

It has grown a bad name over the years. Hence why they ditched it all together and started from scratch.

    nice web for Android ROMs...
myself,i gave up,as it takes 30m at least and nothing !

can be that the card requires a minimum free space ? what that will be ? mine is the 2Gb original one, with free around 1Gb...

also,any1 can confirm that when playing a videclip from Youtube,do you have sound coming from the front speakers or only the back one !?

well my android folder is of 1.49 GB

most android build require 2gb atleast free. depends on the data.img size

you can look at this build - Mdeejay Glacier Sense

once you download that. find a link under installation that says 512 mb image :) and copy that into your android folder which will enable you to run android (hopefully) with around 1gb of space

theres a few other builds around that support lower than 1gb data images (this is where all your apps and info is stored) just look around does the chef has that option in his build

    Hi Guys
got another HD2 a few weeks back, Went through a few Roms untill i found the Dexter Rom (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=797812)
fantastic and very very stable. buts a very clear workable skin on WM6.5 which looks the part and is very easy to use.

    hi guys.
A few weeks ago i updated to the latest htc official ROM. I then put on CHT editor. however since then my hd2 has been freezing a lot. This requires a batterypull to correct.

Just wondering if anybody else has found this?

Meh my Cookie never does :) what version are you running~?

The 2.0 is beta so you can expect some as all phone setups differ.

Though mines very stable. More like an RC rather than beta :)

  • Registered Users Posts: 111 ✭✭obriea3

Yea its the beta 2.0 I'm running, so I'll put it down to that. Just have to put up with it for a while I suppose, thanks.

Try reinstalling it. Do you have .net 3.5 installed?

Idk mines grand. Ok i get a few slow downs when changing from tabs to home screen but other than that its fine

hmm as far as ive been reading its a very well made theme that still runs under 6.5 core but who knows how far is the truth there. Though all the videos show a very realistic WP7 UI

We'll just have to wait and see but if its a theme, its very well made!

hi when you connect your phone via usb it will let you choose ActiveSync or storage card. choose active sync. in my computer it should show htc hd2. and when you go into it there will be internal or external memory. go into internal. find my documents and they
should be in one of the folders. its very simple

sorry to change the direction of this thread but i was wondering if anybody has had any luck streaming music from their htc hd2 via bluetooth. i'm thinking of getting the QED uPlay bluetooth receiver to connect to my old hifi and hopefully stream and control music wirelessly from my hd2. anybody tried this or something similar? thanks.

    i like your work evolutionqy7.
