Red fireball got put in as a move in Super, as I said, and is hcf+p, so I don't get the double facepalming still...?

  • Registered Users Posts: 3,006 ✭✭✭Ramza

Yeah dreddy yer right but in earlier titles there was no different motion for a red fireball it just happeend at random, there was no criteria needed to be met like chopper posted (which is why I said he must be being sarcastic :pac:)

The double perfect line surely must have given it away?

I read in a book that SFII: World Warrior has a glitch where every 255th button press (or so) is a special move, REGARDLESS of what you were doing.
It was put in there to get players interested.

I wasn't replying to you at all, I quoted Ramza (I figured that was a joke when I read it though). So go ahead and triple facepalm yourself, buddy. :pac:

Sarcasm doesn't really work on the internet so make it a quadruple facepalm :pac:

Fans love little nods like that. Shows that the devs.....or atleast the localisation team play the game aswell. :)

It wasn't a glitch it was left in to get players interested in the game by seeing the types of crazy moves you could do.

The red fireball was always weird to me. It seemed like a glitch in championship edition but it made it into the super nintendo and megadrive version as well.

    Excellent winquote!

Speaking of references, Dudley's intro mentioned a "missing car," which is obviously a reference to SF3. However, SF3, as I understand it, is set five years after SF2. Which means Dudley spends four years hunting Gill down and destroying the Iluminati because of this car. Vengeful son of a b.

Who'd just sit there and let some big glowing mofo in a thong make off with their sweet ride and get away with it?

If a 7 foot red and blue dude wearing nothing but a pair of socks tied around his crotch showed up to steal my car I'd probably be too shocked to give chase too.
