Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Things are definitely 'looking up' for the challenges. There was some great interest in this challenge and some really great images.
Well done and a big thank you to everybody who took part :cool:
We've had a number very good contenders, with one outright winner from early on.

Thanks a million folks for all the votes - I'm chuffed to bits and I get a lovely cup for my mantelpiece.:)
What I like about these assignments and especially this one, is that you have to think hard about what your trying to capture. This is especially helpful to newbies like me. In this assignment you had to look up which is not something I'd normally do with a camera, so in the last couple of weeks I've seen more unusual aspects to everyday objects.
Last Sunday I went on a outing with the camera club and took quite a few pictures upwards with this assignment in mind. I wouldn't have normally done it and some of the images were unusual and interesting. I even ended up with a pic of an arch in Bective Abbey, quite similar to Xia's entry.
So for those of you interested to know what my picture was - this is it;
I stood under the ladder looking upwards!
Once again, thanks to everyone who voted and now I have to go and put on my thinking cap for the next one.0 -
