    If I were to go shopping up the North today, am I better to pay in sterling or euro?

    You would generally be better off paying the sterling price and to put it on your credit card rather than pay cash.

    This is a generalisation though and shops can offer their own deals (like parity?)

    At the moment Asda in Eniskillen is offering a better rate than the banks for euro.
