    Wait. You didn't like the answer from the first time around so you're making us go through this lisbon business again?

    The sticky itself is basically saying no lisbon threads, telling people to make up their own mind rather then have people on the internet telling them how to vote.

    That's how I understood it anyway.

    Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

    The first link says no Lisbon Treaty threads in AH, and the second link is a sitewide announcement that appears in every forum, AH included. How is that hard to understand? Saying one contradicts the other is a bit of a clutching at straws argument.

    See this post and think, fair enough. Sick of hearing about it myself.

    however, why is this thread;
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055670882
    a sticky at the top if it's 'no to lisbon threads in AH' ? :rolleyes:

    Not bein' funny 'ere, but are you taking the piss or are you genuinely ignorant?
    The first one could probably be re-worded to make it explicitly clear that it means no discussion threads re: the Lisbon Treaty, but it's implicitly obvious.
    The sticky is more of a 'get off your fat arse, get educated, get out and vote... on the Lisbon treaty.' It's about exercising your democratic right, and how boards.ie plays its part more than anything Lisbon-Treaty-centric.
