Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

how many goals has babel got as a sub at this stage, fairclough mk II

    +1 on Voronin

Both himself and Babel did well coming off the bench(admittedly against a team on the ropes, but still)

Interesting to note how absolutely rubbish Hertha are going this season compared to last - title contenders last season, looking like relegation battlers this season (not saying it's wholly due to the Vorinator but interesting to consider)

A word for Voronin, his link up play is first rate.

When he signed King Kenny was happy for that very reason

Not really good enough in the long run but nowhere near as bad as he has been made out to be
as he has never really gotten a proper chance

He is not a bad lad to have on the bench!

Did well for the first one, great pass out the wing towards kuyt, then ran into the box for the tap in.

Second goal was a fluke but how bad.

He was jittery in places but he did well in my opinion.

He didn't look very confident when he first came on but was very good for his first goal. Two goals should have his confidence high so lets hope we start seeing the player we hoped he'd become.

the goals should give him confidence. I'd start him against Fiorentina.

Half of me wouldn't start Torres with Chelsea in mind.

Otherwise either Kuyt or Riera can have a rest

Agreed. TBH the league is the holy grail this season and everything else should be put on the backburner. Number 19 is a must.

While folk are giving the shoutouts for voronin and babel, id like to interject and give my own shoutout for insua.

Was great again today. I bet rafa wishes he kept his money in his pocket regarding dossena.

Yeah looked massively solid defensively and was very positive going forward . Popped up ahead of Riera once or twice which was sweet. Reckon it won't be long before hw finds the net. I think he could be rotated for the Fiorienta game and then starting for the Chelsea game - I think he coould be very handy to pressure Boswinga defensively and keep him on the back foot.

Thumping the lower class teams at home is a good sign :)

    Tottenham Hotspur 2 - 1 Liverpool
    Liverpool 4 - 0 Stoke City
    Liverpool 1 - 3 Aston Villa
    Bolton Wanderers 2 - 3 Liverpool
    Liverpool 4 - 0 Burnley
    West Ham United 2 - 3 Liverpool
    Liverpool 6 - 1 Hull City

Well to be fair it was a bad goal to give away. Yes there is a tendency to highlight liverpool's defensive frailties but only because against the bigger teams those mistakes will prove more costly.
Was a poor clearance that led to Giovanni's goal. But overall a wonderful hat trick by Torres.
We are doing well down the right side at the moment but still have reservations about Rierra down left.
Next Sunday will be a huge game for us but at least Chelsea come in to game with their confidence not the best after losing to Wigan yesterday.
We can beat Chelsea no doubt but really we need to tighten up on mistakes at the back.
