Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Hey, i was just wondering if any1 could shed some let on the fact that when you get your first provisional licence for a car, you also get the licence that allows you to drive up to 11kw/125cc bike, but then when you pass your full car licence you arent given anything for a bike at all?! see i passed my full car licence last october and never noticed than i wasnt given at least the same bike lisence as was on my provisional until yesterday when i took my licence to an insurance company to try and get my Nsr 80 that i bought 2 days before, now i had already gotten quotes online etc, thinking i had the same bike licence as when i had my prov car licence, so now i am stuck and confused..

Will it cost more money to get the a licence to cover the Nsr?

Will i have to sit another test?

Is it going to take forever to get the licence?

Bike licence has nothing to do with the car licence, you don't automatically get a bike licence when you apply for a car provisional, or when you get a full car licence.

You must have ticked the box or they made a mistake.

If your A1 provisional should still be in date go to the tax office and they will give you one free since its already paid for, if it has expired you will need to apply and pay for a second one.

If you have not done an AM theory test(not the same as the B car one) you might have to do one but im not exactly sure since you say you already had a bike licence.
