Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,
We are putting in slurry storage and are thinking either a slurry lagoon or a concrete tank to hold 250.000 gallons. The site is on a slope. we got qoutes for both and there isnt much diffirience between the prices. Which would you go for and why, any opinions helpful!

By concrete tank, do you mean underground slatted tank, or outside pit?

It is an outside tank and about 5ft of the concrete tank will be under ground.

long term i think the concrete is the way cos you can put a roof over it and takes in less water aswell with the banks of them lagoons being at 45 degrees, what ever depth you have it the same distance out from the bottom of the tank you are

i pick concrete cus, in my view,,, reps and nitrates will eventually be phased out so u will be able to put a shed over it and will be able to use it for wintering cattle also will keep out the water as ''john f''said
