Dole if you leave a Job?

    If I leave my job I dont like [at all...], can I go on the dole while looking for another job?

    Note: Its that bad I'm considering all options incl Dole

    After 8 weeks you would be allowed to apply for the dole (assuming you meet the requirements) if my memory serves me. This don't take into account any waiting time in the process for approvals etc. and hence realistically you'd most likely be looking at 12+ weeks for the first money to arrive.

    try and be let go there is still a period before you get it however you will be calculated from the day you were let go.
