Cost of extension.

    I am considering using the current lull to try and get an extension built on the cheap. Does anyone have any experience in costing these jobs?

    We are looking at a 2 storey extention, 1 room up and 1 down. No bathrooms so wouldn't require any plumbing (other than heating), just living area and a bedroom.

    What sort of money are we talking for that? I have already sent an enquiry to tradesman.ie

    if its out the back of the house the soil vent will have to be moved... what is the approx sq foot?
