Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

Really hoping someone can help me here. I want to stay at the campsite in Sesriem to see the sand dunes in Sossusvlei, Namibia. I have tried contacting the 'Cardboard Box' company but they have not replied to me. Apparently this campsite books up beforehand, so does anyone know how I can book it before I get to Namibia. Also, I will not be going to Windhoek (I think there is a national parks office there) so I can't book from there.

    Thanks.

Why don't you try contacting Oasis overlanding Africa, I went on a trip with thm in Southern Africa and we used mostly campsites- not sure if we stayed there exactly but they would have excellent local knowledge, info on campsites- they might oblige you....

Oasis Overland were very very helpful (especially considering I wasn't even offering them any business!) - thank you.
