Fiorentina are without captain and star-striker Gilardinho, so Mutu and Jovetic will form a rare double appearence with each other.

Mascherano hasn't travelled for Liverpool, and Benayoun has travelled despite reports of him being injured.

Should be a close match, I can't see us getting anything more than a 1-0 win.

as much as I'd like a win - get this group over with ASAP - i'd take a draw now.

it's one of those annoying away fixtures, that in the short 6-match format can knock you off your stride.

but i'm going to predict 1-1 with the head.

Can see this being a very tight game with Fiorentina, if we get an ealry goal it might open it up a bit but in saying that Fiorentina need the win too as they lost to Lyon in their first game.

A couple of years ago I would've agreed with you but my faith in a Liverpool clean sheet lately has been shattered so I'd avoid this bet!

Any win would be a great result. I could see this being a tough game and really don't know what to predict. I'll go for 1-1 which wouldn't be a bad result

Think it'll be a draw. No Gila means Fiorentina will lack strength up front but without Masch there is the possibilty that Jovetic and Mutu can pick up the ball before the infront of the defense and cause alot of trouble

Yes I have no choice but to indulge them tonight. Although will say their GAA programmes were okay this summer. But like rest of the nation would take Giles Dunphy and Whelan lambasting the pool any day. They do annoy me with their criticism but Whelan to be fair calls it as it is.
