Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Arsenal are missing Denilson (fractured back), Bendtner (bruised after a car crash) and Manuel Almunia (virus) and while Theo Walcott is fit again he won't be playing as he played 60 minutes for the reserves against Olympiacos reserves this morning.

    Mannone

    Sagna
    Vermaelen
    Gallas
    Clichy

    Song

    Diaby
    Fab

    Eboue
    Arshavin

    RVP

I'd much rather see Eduardo or Vela get a start ahead of Eboue and really go at Olympiacos but I have a feeling it will be Eboue. At the same time Ramsey and Diaby are quite interchangeable.

    3-1 Arsenal

Remember the days when Olympiacos came out as *******kos on here :D

Arsenal to win by the odd goal in three I reckon. 2-1

    I predict a comfortable Arsenal win. 3-0

Was that an automatic thing? I always thought it was just some users being very very very law abiding!:D

Anyway, I'm going for a big performance from Arsenal tonight, 3-0

    4-0 for me.

can't see olympiakos putting up too much of a fight.

    dudu to get a couple.

am i missing something here, if Olympiaokos dont put up much of a fight and Arsenal win 4-0 how will Dudu Cearense get a couple exactly?

decent spine to that Olympiakos team (although perhaps not much else) Nikopolidos-Mellberg-Ledesma-Dudu-Diogo.

Why oh why are we forced to listen to depressing drivel from the mouth of Lou Macari???

Its a crying shame that no one else apart from pay per view channels want to show Arsenal games.

    Great shot by Fabregas.

Coz Arsenal couldn't finish their dinner.

Great play by us so far but shocking in the final third

Not seen a game this one sided in ages. Poor finishing the reason for 0-0 atm. Good Greek goalkeeper too.

Still time for either Mannone or Eduardo to get Man Of The Match.:)

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 747 ✭✭✭WillieCocker

    Eduardo getting ready.
Hope he brings off Diaby, move Arshavin out to the left.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 747 ✭✭✭WillieCocker

Eboue can't even pass the ball in front of goal.

Arshavin rounds off a great team goal.

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

    Great goal from Arshavin :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,500 ✭✭✭Fuzzy_Dunlop

    Looked offside, great goal though:p

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 747 ✭✭✭WillieCocker

Vela taking far too many touches, showing inexperience there, lucky to get the pass away, he had Eduardo & Arshavin making great runs.:(

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

Arshavin's goal was a mile offside, never should have stood.

Drawing 0-0 with 14 minutes to go

    Vela comes on

    We win 2-0

    Coincidence? I think not

Not so keen on draws this season are the boys. That's nine wins and two losses from eleven competitive matches. Considering the nature of those we lost, it's not a bad record.
