What are the cider extract kits like? I have one, plan to brew it tomorrow with a kg of table sugar, primary ferment for about a week then secondary ferment for about a week. Then ill leave it in the bottles for a few weeks before trying it. Plan on making it about 7% so ill add more sugar if I need to. What can I expect? Dont want it to be very dry!

Read about making cider from just supermarket applejuice, is it better than extract kits? also whats the advantage of using glass carboys over normal 5 gallon plastic fermenting bins?

    Thanks
