Waves ended up being quite small but I just heard a colleague's grandfather was killed in Samoa. Very sad and really makes you think.

My thoughts are with everyone affected.

i live across the raod from the beach, got heaps of texts about it yesterday. few friends and stuff had packed and legged it away. real glad it never quite happened,t hough the waves were real trippy yesterday arvo.
