2 friends and I are looking to rent a place, preferbly an apartment but open to anything.

We need 3 bedrooms, and a car parking spot. It needs to near enough Clondalkin and also within walking distance of Central Bank.

Which areas/developments would be most suited?

We were thinking about them new apartments up around Heuston, but the price of them

So we think somewhere like St JAmes might be ideal...any other areas we should consider?? Rathmines would be ok to, but dont want to live in a converted house...

Dont want to pay more than 1k a month in rent.

    Suggestions?

LUAS runs close to Clondalkin so you could move further out or closer in to city centre

1k for 3 bed with parking -- you'll need to move to Clondakin or near it to get somewhere for that kind of money, look at areas along the luas line.

My job in clondlakin is nowhere near the Luas line, so thats no use.

Any good areas that are a quick drive to CLondalkin and a quick cycle to the city centre?

Everywhere around St James seems to be a 2bed. Any ideas?

Walking distance from PARKWEST, WYETH ,LIFFEY VALLEY, CLONDALKIN VILLAGE.

Architect Anthony Reddy Associates has distributed the 108 apartments among four four-storey blocks surrounded by landscaped communal areas. Each unit has a south-facing orientation, with lifts from the underground car-park.

Standard features at Rosebank Court include electric heating, cherry alder kitchen units and a full range of integrated appliances. Wardrobes are installed in all bedrooms and windows are extra-large. There are en suite bathrooms in most of the two and three-bedroom apartments.

The development is within walking distance of Clondalkin village and beside the old Lough and Quay. There are plans to upgrade the canal bank with a jetty and public walkway, to which residents will have direct access through a gated pedestrian entrance.

The location is a good one for investors, with business parks and employers such as Wyeth in the vicinity. The Arrow commuter rail link services the city and Luas is expected soon.

See what transport goes nearest to the location in Clondalkin and find somewhere between there and the city centre on a bus / Luas route. If two people are in the city centre, find somewhere closer to the city. If two people are in Clondalkin , find somewhere closer to Clondalkin. Take into account other trips - shopping, nights out, etc.
