Australian Uniden Sat-Nav?

Hey guys i bought an Aussie sat nav in June.Its a Uniden 3.5'' fairly basic model but it works well.Im coming home in Nov and im just wondering will it work in Ireland? as in can i upload an Irish mapping system onto it?I checked the uniden website but i cant find the irish version??

Not sold here unless it's a known make rebadged for the Aussie market. What mapping software does it use? If it's their own and they don't offer european mapping you're stuffed. Sell it and buy a unit when you get home, Garmin seem to be most popular and basic ones are cheap enough.

I have a Garmin already at home,was just wondering could i get irish sofware for the Uniden?thanks for the advice though:)
