    I've played 13,513 hands. So I'm about 4k behind my target, but that's fine as I couldn't play the first two days of the month.

    3k hands is roughly 3 hours of playing, so it isn't that likely to cause me to go blind. My current record is 74k hands in a month

    Ugh only on 1k hands of 50NL aswell. New custom built PC arrived last saturday. Spent a week trying to get windows working on it. Fail! Waiting for windows 7 to come out so I can use it then. Old PC decided it didnt want to load windows anymore yesterday so thats my excuses for having such a sh!t volume so far! Dam technology!!! Also think I'll start incorporating some plo into my games for some variety.

    Quick questions a tracker really help in omaha? And if so I have pokertracker 3 so should I wait for pokertracker omaha to come out? (should be within few months?)

    Get HEM full package which will import both variants NLHE & PLO. Whilst the HUD is useful for PLO you should look at viewing different stats such as flop/turn/river call/bet/fold action to pick up on players tendancies rather than the typical stats you would show on your NLHE hud.

    24 and a 22 inch dells, can play 6 on each with only a little overlap on the 22inch

    Is it worth playing 50NL HU on ipoker? Doesn't seem to be alot of traffic there at all.

    I imagine that playing HU at any level below 200NL would be difficult to make $$$ at due to the rake?

    Game selection can actually make $50NL quite profitable. If you are just learning the game then breaking even would be an achievement, but as I said, with game selection I have seen guys earning 6-10ptbb/100 over samples of 100k hands.

    fair enough, they must have a massive edge and game select well in that case

    can't imagine it's going to be massively +EV for your averagely proficient punter (if you're any good the regs won't play you and you'll be fighting with them to nab the fishies)

    Its generally pretty obvious within 50 hands if its a regfish or a decent reg. The player pool is enormous at 50NL also, so fighting to get the fishies isn't really a problem. The 2 main problems for 50 and 100 NL HU players are ego and tilt. These can turn a proficient player who can beat the stake through game selection into a significant loser. Knowing when to quit is hugely important imo.

    Didn't cash in the IPO, didn't even try to qualify for the IWF as I was abroad.

    Didnt bother with goals this month but im happy enough with what i acheived.

    Played IPO went pretty deep didnt cash but played well in general.

    Moved back to 20 nl with a nice winrate after a big downswing at 50nl.

    Im looking forward to November goals.

    Due to computer problems and being back in collegethis month I only got in about 8k hands. And in that 8k hands I somehow managed to lose 15BI's on a massive DS. Confidence isn't great at the moment but I've learnt to deal with tilt pretty good niw so thats a + I guess. Getting coaching soon to so hopefully won't be back to 10c/20c.

    3bet - Better
    Run better - Meh. Alot below EV, but playing very well so can't complain.
    Casino - Went once. 10k win, so fail but acceptable.
    Mixed Games - Played 15k ish hands of 4/8 and 10/20 8 Game Mix on Stars. Winning in every game except limit holdem and no limit holdem. Improving at every discipline and enjoying the game alot more as it's far more interesting and there is huge value in the games.
    Gym - Been 4 days most weeks until last week when I sprained my ankle. Back doing weights tomorrow and swimming for cardio

    2. Played everything from terrible to god mode. Made 4 buyins at 200nl on a euro on one night only to pump 3 back again on another although i was in some very high variance spots. Think ill concentrate 50nl hu next month, i had a couple of horrible tilty sessions at 50nl 6 max last month. A few thousand hands at 100nl and 200nl doesnt mean i can play 50nl on autopilot and then tilt!

    I failed in my goal. I was a bit behind in hands, then went away for the long weekend and never recovered. I managed 65k, (and will probably finish at around 70). I'll try again next month, with a slightly more manageable goal of 80k.
