Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Carrick should have scored there - but FOOK. Berbs has really changed the game since he came on, excellent.

Berba having a stormer - pure class since he has come on.

How the hell did carrick miss there?

Aye, he should've ordered the soup instead of the salad. ;)

I think he's been ok tbh.

I think the free kick on Giggs and the free kick against Anderson were both harsh.

    Carrick should have done better.

Berba has been sublime since his introduction.

    Carrick should of scored.

Much better from United. ando Rooney and Berba doing better.

Berbatov's really spiced up the game. Carrick really should have buried that, shocking finishing yet again.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,789 ✭✭✭nicklauski

Free headed. Should have scored being honest.

Back. He's not made of eyes FFS.

Tut tut Vidic. Grafite is a beast.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 5,492 ✭✭✭MementoMori

Vidic for the world's most blatant yellow.
    Lucky it wasn't nearer goal.

This ref is more suited to girls netball than football, im struggling to think of one tackle hes let go.

Two great touches there. Poor effort.

"A slow drizzle comes down at Old Trafford"
"It's a great night for football"
"It's nights like this that were made for football"
"And the match isn't too bad either"

It's comments like this that make matches boring.

It's comments like these that make me want to ask you if I can have some?

After a reasonable start Wolfsburg have been pretty anemic-looking going forward. Probably not helped by how much they are getting beaten in midfield.

One of those games where it just looks a matter of time before Utd score.

Berba has been absolute class since he came on, hopefully he can keep it up in the second half and someone can finish the chances he creates!

    couldn't agree more.
pity the commentary is so dry ronnie gets worse every game almost annoys me more than andy gray but for very different reasons.

i agree with dunphy about valencia being not good enuff for utd, hopefully this will change with more games, it seems to me hes nervous everytime he plays

berbatov has been class since he came on, really playing well

Berbatov really has been immense. As for the chances, Valencia should have buried his. I think Carrick's was the more difficult chance, the keeper came out very well. The common denomenator of both was a sublime pass from Berbatov.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Ah Costa you should've scored that.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,852 ✭✭✭✭Nalz

    United awful first 10 mins
nearly as bad as Ronnie Whelan commentary

Getting into it now with Berbatovs arrival, although its very disappointing to see Owen go off. As it is to see Rio perform as bad as he is lately.

certainly isn't inspiring confidence at the moment but i'm happy to give him another few games before writing him off, he is still relatively young.

Does catching the ball not exist in Germany?

ITV for the commentary (can't stand George Hamilton) and RTE for the analysis.
